Vanaf het begin van de bezetting, stellen Mariette Goffaux, Belgische van Duitse afkomst, en haar man zich ten dienste van de geheime politie van de bezetter. Als de betere bloedhonden van de Duitse contraspionage, zijn ze verantwoordelijk voor talloze arrestaties van landgenoten.

As from the early stages of the Occupation, Mariette Goffaux, a Belgian of German origin, and her husband Gaston Goffaux started working for the occupier’s secret police. They were among the best sleuths in the ranks of the enemy’s counter-intelligence and were responsible for many arrests of Belgian nationals.

Dès le début de l’occupation, Mariette Goffaux, Belge d’ascendance allemande, se met au service, avec son mari Gaston Goffaux, de la police secrète de l’occupant. Comptant parmi les meilleurs limiers du contre-espionnage adverse, ils sont à l’origine de très nombreuses arrestations de patriotes belges.
